Meet Your Instructor
After working with hundreds of weight-loss clients, I saw the same pattern: people weren’t failing diets — diets were failing to address the real reasons people eat.
Hi! Thanks so much for being here. I’m Danielle, a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate weight loss through a deeper understanding of food, behavior, and self-awareness.
I go beyond traditional nutrition advice—I work with clients to uncover the underlying patterns, beliefs, and habits that shape their relationship with food, because lasting change requires more than just knowing what to do: it requires understanding why we do it, and how to change that why. For those using a GLP-1 medication, this approach is especially important to maximizing the weight loss potential of the medication.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology, a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from Columbia University, and I completed my dietetic training through the University of British Columbia. As a former athlete, I also bring a unique perspective on performance, discipline, and the pressures that can shape our relationship with food.
My food behaviour work is deeply informed by my own lived experience. I’ve struggled with disordered eating and addictive tendencies around food—despite knowing exactly what I “should” be doing. I was able to follow through with what I wanted to do in other areas of my life… but why not with food???
Today, I combine clinical expertise with coaching experience to help clients break free from cycles of restriction, confusion, and self-judgment. My goal is to support sustainable, empowered change—helping people build a relationship with food that feels balanced, intentional, and truly aligned with who they want to be.
I am truly passionate about what I do and have seen the process work time and again. If you have questions, send me a message and let’s connect!
